When is the best time to have a Pup Photography Session?
You can organise as session whenever you like! You're pet doesn't have to be a young puppy to have a Pup Portrait so any age is fine.
How do I book a Pup Portait Session with you?
First you need to get in touch, you can do this by email or phone.
We will then have a free, no obligation, phone consultation where we can discuss your session hopes and requirements.
If after the consultation you decide you would like to book me I request a £50 non refundable deposit to secure your booking.
Where will the photography session take place?
Pup Portrait Sessions take place in your home; they are relaxed, informal and fun!
Upon my arrival I will need approx. 15-20 minutes to set up my equipment and then we will begin the session.
How far do you travel?
I'm based in Guildford and cover most areas in Surrey and the neighbouring counties.
If you are a particularly long distance away, a travel charge may be added, but this will be discussed during your consultation.
Can I cancel my Pup Portrait Session with you?
Yes, you may cancel your session at any time, but you will lose your £50 booking deposit.
How do we prepare for our session with you?
When you book your session I will send you a confirmation letter via email which will have all the info you need about what to expect and how to prepare your home and your pup.
When will we receive our photos?
I will send you a link to your online gallery within 1 week of your photography session. From here you may select the 3 images you would like to download.
When do we have to pay you?
I request a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure your photo session. Full payment is required on the day of the session, however you are welcome to pay the balance prior to the session day if it is more convenient for you.
Are you insured?
Yes! I will happily provide you copies of insurance certificates should you wish to see them.
What if my dog doesn't do what I want it to?
Sessions are entirely pup led and their welfare is my main priority There are ways of manipulating their behavior (treats and bribery!) to try and get them into a preferable position or to look in a certain direction, but animals won't always 'perform' - and that's totally OK - we will adapt to your pup's behavior and character and still get lovely photos for you!
Can the whole family be in the photos?
A Pup Portrait Session is just for canines, however we can include your pup in my Family Portrait Session.
Please see the Portraits section of my website for more info on this.
